Trains on Jan 5th from Edinburgh or Glasgow can only get me to Aviemore by 9:52am at the earliest. The number 30 bus to Cairngorm Lodge Youth Hostel takes ~20 minutes according to the internet, so will probably only be at the Lodge by 10:30am at the earliest. Would that be alright? Not too keen on booking a hostel for the night before.

Anyone travelling up from Edinburgh that would be willing to give me a lift? xx Or anyone also coming from Edinburgh that would like to take the train together then split a cab fare?
