Our ever popular Wilderness First Responder level-3 course is now also happening in the Peak District. With the same amazing content as our Wales WFR Level 3, if you have love for the outdoors and all things wilderness medical then this is the course for you. Perfectly suited for all medical students, junior doctors, training paramedics or budding expedition leaders looking to acquire new knowledge and experience, especially if you're thinking about heading off on an expedition in the future.
Desert Expedition - Morocco
1st - 11th April 2024
Our exciting new Morocco expedition will allow you to experience the extremes of both the desert and the mountains. We will take you from the bustling capital of Marrakesh into the stunning Atlas Mountains for 5 days trekking, including summiting North Africa's highest peak, Mount Toubkal (4167 metres). We will then head to the Sahara, spending two nights under the stars by camel and on foot. The expedition ends back in the capital where you will be free to explore the delights of Marrakesh.
Jungle Expedition - Langkawi
14th - 22nd June 2024
We’ll spend our time learning how to survive in the jungle, navigating through the thick undergrowth and scaling steep ravines whilst still leaving some time for rest and relaxation. A two phase trip with jungle trekking followed by desert island survival, you’ll learn the tricks of the trade that can turn one of the most inhospitable environments into a joyous place for an adventure.
Wales Wilderness Medicine
4th - 8th September 2024
​Back by popular demand we're heading back to the hills and forests of Wales for 5-days jam packed with medical simulation, practical learning and, as always, a good dollop of adventure. If you have love for the outdoors and all things wilderness medical then this is the course for you. Perfectly suited for all medical students, junior doctors, training paramedics or budding expedition leaders looking to acquire new knowledge and experience, especially if you're thinking about heading off on an expedition in the future. We're hoping for clear days and sunny skies in this stunning location.
Highlands Course - Scotland
3rd - 5th & 10th - 12th Jan 2025
Learn the skills to become an International Expedition Medic in the stunning mountains of the Cairngorms National Park.

You'll master essential Winter skills including Ice Axe Arrests, Avalanche Safety and Rope Work - alongside key medical skills for the mountains including altitude sickness and major trauma.​
Suitable for medics or non-medics including Junior Doctors, Student Medics, Paramedics, Technicians and ECAs, Nurses or Expedition Leaders. We also welcome those with military experience.
